Jarika Tucker

Jarika Tucker has earned a Bachelor of Arts in English-Creative Writing and a Master of Science in Computer Science. She works in tech as a data engineer by day, writes by night, and directs a movie once every blue moon. She spends her free time reading widely, working on her green thumb, learning languages, and traveling as far as her family’s budget will go. She was a mentee in the AWP's Writer-to-Writer program. She serves as a mentor for Girls Write Now and a volunteer for Women Who Code. She is currently working on her adult-aged speculative manuscript about magical Black sea-dwellers, THE DROWNING CROWN and is represented by Rebecca Matte of Bradford Literary Agency.
