Hi! I’m Rachel, I started making wood jewelry a few years ago using the hardwood flooring cut-offs collected from our projects. (Read more about our work in the link above ~Johnson Floors LLC) I have recently started learning bead weaving and am super excited to start incorporating it into my jewelry 𝙍𝘼𝙉𝘿𝙊𝙈 𝙁𝘼𝘾𝙏𝙎: • I’m the youngest of 5 & grew up on a dairy farm in rural Dodgeville • All things art ~ it’s my happy place • Coffee is liquid medicine • Bird watching creeps up on you when you hit 30,,just beware • Foraging for wild edibles and imagining I can survive in the wilderness are fun pastimes for me 👩🏼‍🌾🦋🍄☘️ • Pete is my bestie, husby, coworker, chill buddy, and just all around great guy…but he doesn’t “do Instagram” so you’ll rarely see him featured here. • electronic, folk, raggae, alternative/indie, electro/pop, chill music (currently) • If I could create a perfect day it would be a crisp autumn day that starts with coffee & a sunrise, a hike through the woods, laying in the sun at some point, margaritas & tacos, a camp fire while joking around & laughing with friends • Values I strive to live by; Love God, value creation, learn new things, love & honor others, live a simple balanced life.
