Hello, I'm Taylor Grimes

I'm the founder & editor-in-chief of Swim Into The Sound, an ad-free independent music publication specializing in emo, punk, and indie rock.

More About Taylor
Born in Portland, Oregon, Taylor Grimes is a lifelong music geek who loves to share his passion with other people. When he's not waxing poetic about his latest obsession over on Swim Into The Sound, you can find him posting music esoterica on Twitter, making playlists on Spotify, or going for a run. By day, Taylor works in advertising as a copywriter and has worked for companies such as McDonald's, Starbucks, and Red Robin, plus tons of automotive brands. His work has taken him from the West Coast to Detroit, Denver, and, most recently, Wilmington, North Carolina. Taylor also runs a seasonal side project called A Very Sufjan Christmas, which is a collaborative advent-calendar-style blog dedicated to writing about all 100 Sufjan Stevens Christmas songs. Most recently, Taylor produced a documentary called “I Hate Music” and is working on printing a book while editing other people's work. He sometimes writes bios for bands and cooks a mean chili.
