As a certified Infant & Pregnancy Loss Doula, I serve families in a supportive professional companioning role from before delivery, during the liminal time before a medical procedure, and in the hours & days following a loss. I facilitate creating plans, assist with grief support, and can aid the family in the process of memory making. An Infant & Pregnancy Loss Doula can be seen as a key support for helping the family say hello to their baby; and then goodbye. I see the family as a whole, and not only attend to the birthing parent’s physical, emotional, mental and spiritual distress; but also, the needs of the partner and extended family. Bereaved families can also be supported as they navigate the tasks of making funeral arrangements for their baby. I can act as a Vigil Keeper during a public or private viewing, at the funeral home or home viewing.

Each life is precious, no matter how soon it ends. Together, we can create an end of life ceremony; or Remembrance ritual where it is possible for you to share all the ways in which your baby was an individual; the effect your child has had in your lives, changing those around you forever in just a short space of time. By carefully listening to your feelings and wishes, I will gently offer options to consider, with an understanding that it is so hard to make decisions.
