A little bit about me
I am a primary educator, yoga teacher, and lifelong learner curious about the myriad ways we develop, think, learn, and grow.
I am currently working as a primary educator in Victoria, Australia and developing my client base having recently become an INPP Practitioner. I support individuals to improve their physical, cognitive and social functionality through the development of an individualised exercise program that integrates aberrant primitive reflexes and strengthens postural reflexes whilst fine-tuning the supporting sensory systems.
I am currently undertaking training with the world-renowned Dr. Robert Melillo (clinician, professor, brain researcher, and founder of the Melillo Method) to deepen my understanding and experience in supporting students to overcome learning difficulties and socio-behavioral dysfunction.
Yoga Teaching at Moss Studios
I am teaching a Hatha Flow Yoga class at Moss Studios: 101 Evans Street, Brunswick, from 6-7pm each Wednesday in March. EMAIL me to RSVP! allison.t.berry@gmail.com
You will also see me teaching casually at Prana House in Thornbury.
I have been exploring yoga for 25 years and commenced teaching in 2007. My approach is intuitive, drawing upon a curiosity for life and love and compassion for others. My teaching style is as eclectic as my yoga experiences and influences. I draw upon the wisdom traditions and more subtle practices, seeking to provide an authentic and holistic approach to teaching weaving in philosophy, asana, pranayama, and meditation.
