Anderson Mokyiu

Anderson Mokyiu is a 16-year-old countertenor from Melbourne, known for his expressive tone and stage presence. He began singing at the age of six and quickly developed a passion for performance through his early choral work. At eleven, he was appointed Head Chorister at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Melbourne, by the Dean, marking the beginning of a rapidly advancing vocal career.  In 2025, Anderson achieved Honours in the AMEB Certificate of Performance in Classical Singing. He was selected as a finalist in the prestigious National Baroque Competition and was invited to perform at the Ringwood Eisteddfod Gala Concert, celebrating standout performers across various categories. Anderson went on to win first place in the International American Protégé Vocal Competition (Under 17 Open Aria category), earning him an invitation to perform at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City.
