THE WHY
In 2017, I walked away from teaching, a career I once believed I’d retire from. Growing up, life brought its share of challenges, and so much of what we did was shaped by what we could realistically afford. As I began building a family of my own, I felt a deep pull to create a different path...not just financially, but spiritually, emotionally, and generationally. January 2017, for the first time in my life, I googled "motivation", the first link was to Steve Harvey’s “Jump” speech, and it struck me in a way I didn’t expect. He talked about stepping off the edge and trusting that your parachute will open. For me, it was more than motivation, it was confirmation. I could feel God nudging me, whispering that the season I was in had served its purpose and that He was preparing me for something new.
