


Diana K. Gibson
Bio
Diana K. Gibson is a painter of the traditional manner. Portrait model turned artist, she studied and apprenticed with landscape painter, John Phillip Osborne before embarking upon her own artistic career.
Diana’s Traditional Fine Art career spans over two decades of painting and drawing. Her still life and portrait work is created in the studio and her landscape work is painted on location throughout the NJ Highlands and Downeast Maine. She teaches traditional oil painting to young people and adults both in her studio and on location in the landscape. Diana's work has been featured in American Artist Magazine and American Art Collector. Her work has been exhibited at various juried shows including Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society, the American Artists Professional League, Hudson Valley Art Association, and Allied Artists of America. Diana was a winner of the 2009 American Artist Magazine Plein Air Showcase Your State, NJ contest. She also has participated in numerous plein air events and is a signature member of the NYPAP. She has been the recipient of many awards including Best of Show as well other commendable honors.
