𝚂𝙿𝚁𝙰𝚈 𝚃𝙰𝙽𝙽𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙿𝚁𝙴𝙿
GET BEAUTY SERVICES DONE:
Your spray tan should be the last of your beauty service appointments. Waxing, facials and brows should be done at least 2 days prior. Nails, hair and massages should be done at least 24 hours.
EXFOLIATE:
Really scrub + exfoliate your entire body the week leading up to your spray tan with an emphasis on the day before. Do not exfoliate the same day as your spray tan.
HYDTRATE + MOISTURIZE:
Hydrate & moisturize the week leading up to your spray tan. This will increase your spray tans longevity. Do not wear any moisturizer the day of your spray tan. If using retinol, stop use 3 days prior and 3 days after.
SHAVE + CLEAN:
Keep in mind - you will need to wait 24 hours after your session to shave or wash your hair again so please do so if needed prior to your session. DO NOT shave the same day as your spray tan -
REMOVE ALL BARRIERS:
Come ready to your session without any lotions, perfumes, deodorants, makeup. Please wear loose/ baggy clothing.
𝚂𝙿𝚁𝙰𝚈 𝚃𝙰𝙽𝙽𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙿𝙾𝚂𝚃 𝙲𝙰𝚁𝙴
WHEN TO RINSE:
I will inform you of your rinse time the day of your appointment. You may sleep in your tan, however, please be mindful of touching your body and excessive sweating.
*please note rapid tans take 24 hrs to fully develop
DURING DEVELOPMENT:
Do not get wet, spill anything on yourself, sweat, wear tight clothing, touch your body, put lotion, perfume, deodorant or makeup on. Please wear loose, baggy clothing.
DURING FIRST RINSE:
Use only warm (not hot) water and your hand to rub & rinse the bronzer completely off your body. Skip shaving, body wash and washing your hair until your 2nd rinse. Pat yourself dry with your towel.
DO DAILY:
Moisturize yourself every morning and night, preferably after your showers. Keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
PRODUCTS TO USE:
Tan-Friendly products that are paraben, sulfate and mineral oil free. I can give you a list of products I recommend using.
𝚅𝙰𝙲𝙰𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽 + 𝙰𝙳𝙳𝙸𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽𝙰𝙻 𝚃𝙸𝙿𝚂
WHAT TO DO DAILY:
Moisturize 2-3 x per day, especially after being in the sun or pool. Hydrate by drinking plenty of water, especially if you are consuming alcohol.
IF YOU PLAN ON SWIMMING:
Before getting into the pool/hot tub/ocean put on waterproof sunscreen (no aerosols)
I recommend Sunbum, Coola Suncare, Color Science or Alba Botanicals. Try to take "quick" dips if you can. Rinse off chlorine as soon as you can.
Always pat yourself dry.
KEEP IN MIND:
Things like chlorine, salt water, saunas, hot tubs and excessive sweating will make your tan fade at a quicker rate. Tan extenders will help with this.
WORKING OUT W/ YOUR TAN:
Try to do workouts that are not as high of an intensity while you have a spray tan. Excessive sweat will cause it to fade. If needed "pat dry" your sweat instead of rubbing it off. Apply a body powder all over body prior to workout. Always rinse and moisturize right after.
