Gabriel Isaac Lakey

Gabriel Isaac Lakey is an award winning filmmaker based out of Portland Oregon, whose work has been on display in feature films, commercials and music videos. He is an independent film director, the lead video producer for Providence Health & Services Community Teaching Kitchen, and a YouTube Content Director for music-centric channel Wreckroom. Lakey has worked with world class talent like actor Adrian Grenier (Entourage & Devil Wears Prada), stand-up comedian Andrew Schulz, and musician Trevor Dahl. Gabriel co-directed and co-wrote the film Punched After the Fact with award winning filmmaker Ian Fowler, and is currently working on his next film Ponderosa Pioneers. Lakey focuses his talents on creating original content that not only allows his work to stand out as unique pieces of art but also remains a product that both he an his collaborators can be proud of for a long time to come. Having received his degree in communication and film from Portland State University, Gabriel’s primary focus is on visual storytelling and being able to tell a story and narrative with a picture rather than relying on exposition and audibly telling the audience the message of the piece. These values and skills have given him opportunities all over the United States in cities such as New York City, Austin and Chicago.
