Hakeem is a native of New Jersey, currently reigning from Richmond, VA. He has recently been named 2022 Male Emerging Artist of the Year by the International Singer Songwriters Association (ISSA). He also serves as an ISSA Administrator and the Richmond, Virginia Representative.
