Huda

Yoga Teacher & Breathwork Practitioner

I found Yoga in 2017 while living in war-torn Libya. I was drawn to graceful shapes created by Yogis around the world so I committed myself to an every day Asana practice, no matter what. What began as exploration of movement soon became integral in helping me cope with and recover from the trauma caused by the ongoing conflict. As I delved deeper into Yogic Philosophy, I knew that it is my soul’s purpose to share this practice with others and help make it more accessible. Understanding Yoga’s core principles strengthened my commitment to justice, resisting all forms of violence and fighting for collective liberation. After years of sharing Yoga for years with anyone willing to learn, I finally completed my formal 200-hour YTT in 2022 as soon as I moved to Venice Beach. I’ve taken many workshops and trainings since then and I mostly practice and teach: Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yin Yoga. I also love to incorporate elements from Katonah Yoga, Pranayama, Mudras, and somatic movements in all my classes.
This year, 2025, I answered another calling by completing the ReWild Trauma-Informed Somatic Breathwork training. I have experienced various breathwork modalities over the past 4 years but I haven’t experienced anything as profoundly healing and supportive as this modality. It is truly the perfect marriage of a science backed modality with the ancient sacred wisdom of indigenous practices. Breathwork and Yoga both profoundly reshaped my life, and I’m excited to share what I’ve learned so far with YOU to help you live more intentionally, both on and off the mat.
