INSPIRE BY FIGHTING MONKEY 'Not Only the Body' WORKSHOP Samstag 31.05.2025 10:00 - 16:30 Uhr Open Workshop For Artist, Movers, Dancers. Yogis. For curious minds. For helplessly clumsy feet. NO prior experience needed. We look beyond protocol, beyond static form. We invite unexpectedness into our lives to see where it can take us. We map, crave, and explore uncertainty to gain a better understanding of how we move. From that uncertainty we organise our rhythm, our capacity to improvise and our sensibility to others and ourselves. In this workshop we will gain a deeper understanding of our own movement and physicality. We will learn to adapt flexibly, navigate space through stillness, with precision and we will tackle complex movement challenges creatively. This experience will sharpen our coordination, enhance our ability to communicate through movement, and foster a stronger connection with ourselves and others.

-Stillness- how to attend to and map a changing environment -Joint Articulations- how to map, investigate and articulate our individual constitution -Coordination- to understand and change ones rhythm to be at the right place at the right time -Improvisation- to check, expand and surprise ones own motorbehaviour and understanding -Movement Situations- to create, crave and break down novelty with others To Workshop is centered around physicality, expect to Move and sweat a good amount. There will be a 45 to 60 minutes lunchbreak within the workshop.
