Welcome Filipino-Canadian-born singer-songwriter cjvd, the latest R&B-Pop newcomer who provides soothing vocals with a hip-hop upbringing. cjvd began his music career with a trap-esque single Never Satisfied back in 2019 with long time friend Gordon showcasing his ability to sing as well as rap drawing comparisons to anders and The Weeknd. His follow-up single Nobody Else, an R&B-Pop ballad drawing inspiration from the 80’s, displays a breath of fresh air in the newly dominated “Trapsoul” era which has been featured on blogs such as BuzzMusic LA and new Toronto blogs such as ENSO Showcase, UMusic Canada and Lost In Nostalgia.
