If you asked many young Ghanaian musicians pushing the barriers creatively, who they were inspired by, they would probably answer, “M3NSA” ( born Bondzie Mensa Ansah ). His career spans two decades with MOBO nominations, producing for some of the most prominent West African Artists, 3 Damon Albarn’s Africa Express Tours, headlining music festivals and being the key player behind dozen albums including his bands F.O.K.N BOIS and RedRed. After receiving the PRS Open Fund for Music Creators and successfully funding a Kickstarter in 2020, he released his self titled album, “BONDZIE” ( his first name, meaning ‘speak up’ ). His new album FOLAH, Fear Of Love and Happiness, is out now and available on all streaming platforms.
