I am the incumbent for Corsicana ISD School Board of Trustee, place 6. The Corsicana School Board of Trustees plays a vital role in our student’s success and academic achievement. Their success reflects a thriving community. I support public education and believe all students deserve a quality education.
I am a Corsicana native and have a son who attends Corsicana High School. For the last 21 years, I have dedicated my time to serving our community in various capacities through church ministries and various organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, and the Salvation Army of Corsicana. The last 16 years of my career has been focused on building up our children, youth, and their families, and working closely with community partners to strengthen our community efforts. For the past 8 months, I have proudly served as a Corsicana School Board Trustee for place 6. I believe in Corsicana ISD’s core values, “to educate every child, provide every student with the greatest opportunity to learn and maintain a safe environment that will protect our children mentally, emotionally, and physically so they can fulfill their full academic achievements.”
