Michael Janosky

Michael Janosky is a Resident Studio Artist at Nickel Plate Arts and a juried artist member of Oil Painters of America, which is dedicated to preserving and promoting excellence in representational art. He was selected as a 2018 Indiana Dunes National Park Artist-in-Residence and invited to continue his residency in 2019. In 2015, Michael’s work was juried into the Hoosier Salon Annual Exhibition and he was accepted into the Indiana Artists’ Club. Juried into Indiana Artisan in 2014, his oil on canvas paintings are recognized among the highest-quality in the state. Michael was honored to be a featured guest artist at the 2013 Indiana Arts Commission Governor’s Arts Awards. Working in oils, Michael enjoys rendering the Indiana landscape as well as Lake Michigan and its beaches and dunes.
