I am a happily married father of four amazing young people. I also am a person who lives a life of recovery and have found great success through adaptation of tools. Today, I serve my communities in many ways one of my proudest is llinois Regional President of Phi Theta Kappa. That one runs a hard tie with being elected student trustee of Shawnee Community College also in 2024. Today, I am convinced that every person in recovery can and should find and utilize some sort of educational experience as a tool of recovery. I'm so convinced that this tool is the missing key to greater success in long-term recovery, that I'm building a new form of non-profit organization called The House of Care to spread that hope while building and maintaining financially and socially supportive programs to help them attain the tools needed to achieve a higher level of success in this world .
