Ms. Nesh

Darnesha grew up in Saint Paul, MN and is an Urban Educator, Activist as well as a Full time student at Metro State University. She is currently studying Urban Elementary Education for a k-6 teaching license with aspirations of receiving an M.ED in educational leadership to pursue a career as a public school principal. In 2022 she started an organization called the First Generation Learning Academy which has since been rebranded to ABC-YZ Tutoring Corp, a non-profit organization where the mission is to ensure that every student in Minnesota has access to high-impact tutoring! Ms.Nesh is motivated by her core belief that knowledge is the true key to emancipation for the African American community. Her affiliation with the NAACP places her among other Black intellectuals striving for equality by uplifting underserved communities!
