Richard Johnson: A Visionary of Transformation
Richard "Razor" Johnson, our founder, embodies the potential for change. After nearly two decades in isolation due to the three-strike law, Richard emerged as a beacon of hope. He transformed his experience into a force for good, actively collaborating with community leaders, organizations, and officials to reduce crime, gang violence, and systemic racism. Through FIGB, Richard is channeling his transformative journey to inspire others, offering them a chance at redemption and a way to give back. His tireless efforts extend from running FIGB to participating in community meetings, speaking engagements, and volunteering as a columnist at Oakland Post for the past 10 years.
