SoYoung Lee

SoYoung Lee is Korean born, Multidisciplinary artist and Filmmaker. She is globally traveled, cultured, worked, and educated in Commonwealth countries like United Kingdom, Australia, Canada. She is currently living in New York City after receiving Talent Based Award Scholarship from New York Film Academy, as well as NYU Tish Film School &Rolling Stone TV/Essential online program by YellowBrick. She is awarded photographer in Canada, and she is creating visual storytelling through her camera lenses to pass the life of vitality. One of her most recent and significant work is 'Seon Actually (2025)' ; a visual photographic storytelling about what zen practice means; especially Korean lineage of zen meditation. Another work is to feature 'Voices of Soho Photo Gallery' ; a story of photographers at Soho Photo Gallery in downtown Manhattan, what it means to be a community gallery and to be members as telling visual anecdotes in the heart of Manhattan, New York City.
