Robin Brickman

Studio Robin B began as a way for me to slow down and really notice things—the light, the water, the feeling of being home. I paint from a place that’s personal and ever-changing, shaped by my family, the rhythm of life at the Jersey Shore, and my love for the bay. I’m endlessly inspired by the way the bay never looks the same twice. The light shifts, the colors soften or deepen, the water moves and pauses. That constant change finds its way into my work. I paint intuitively, in layers, letting each piece unfold slowly—much like memory. I’m drawn to the in-between moments, the ones we wish we could stay in just a little longer. I think of my paintings as holding a time within time. Studio Robin B is simply my way of sharing a sense of calm and connection. My hope is that when one of my paintings finds its place in your home, it feels familiar and comforting, like it’s always been there. With love,
