The Peace Of Mind Project
Bringing comunity and respite to the lonely the cared for and those that deserve a break.

As the founder of The Peace of Mind Project, I recognized a local need to support carers of vulnerable older adults. Working in the care and companionship sector, I saw firsthand the daily struggles families face—balancing responsibilities at home or making frequent trips to ensure their loved ones are safe, well-fed, and not feeling isolated.
Many older adults experience loneliness and worry about being a burden, adding to the emotional weight caregivers carry.
The Peace of Mind Project supports both groups. We offer older adults a warm, familiar place to visit once or twice a week—in the homes of trusted hosts within their own communities. Here, they can enjoy home-cooked meals, meaningful conversations, activities, and build friendships. Meanwhile, family members can take a well-earned break, knowing their loved ones are happy, cared for, and returning home with smiles on their faces.
