LMK IS A SURREALIST ARTIST, PHOTOGRAPHER, & poet NOW LIVING IN SOUTHERN GIPPSLAND, VICTORIA. SHE HAS ABORIGINAL & EUROPEAN ANCESTRIES & HAS BEEN A PRACTICING ARTIST AND PHOTOGRAPHER FOR 35 YEARS. She lived IN FRANCE FOR SEVERAL YEARS making art and learning French. LMK has been exhibiting since 1989 in AUSTRALIA, ITALY, FRANCE, PORTUGAL, USA & INDONESIA. Most recent exhibitions were held in Melbourne Victoria & Times Square NY in 2023. She has just completed an Artists Residency in The Art Cubes in Southern Gippsland which will culminate in a group exhibition, “CUBED”. She will be a guest on an art based podcast in July. LMK is a qualified art & photography teacher with qualifications in art therapy, museum & gallery curatorial practices, having curated several exhibitions including Rome and France. LMK USES ART To share stories, to express HER interwoven relationship with SURREALISM, and the impact of AUSTRALIA'S POST-COLONIAL histories.
