Adrianna M. Santos, Ph.D.

Dr. Santos earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in Chicana/o Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Author of Cicatrix Poetics, Trauma and Healing in the Literary Borderlands: Beyond Survival (Palgrave, 2024), her scholarship has appeared in Chicana/Latina Studies, Shakespeare Bulletin, and Latina Critical Feminism. She is co-editor of El Mundo Zurdo 8 & 9 (Aunt Lute, 2022; 2024) and The Bard in the Borderlands: An Anthology of Shakespeare Appropriations en La Frontera, Vols. 1 & 2 (ACMRS Press, 2023; 2024). Inspired by Gloria Anzaldúa, she aspires to "Do work that matters. Vale la pena."
