Alex Waller

Accomplished young sailor and boating enthusiast from an early age. Keen on sports including rugby, football and basketball. Having younger siblings I believe I am good with kids and consider myself to be a responsible young adult. Dinghies I have sailed include the Shannon-One-Design, 420, Vago, RS Feva, Catamaran, Laser, Topper, Topaz, RS Vision, Firefly, Squib and Optimist. As well being a regular competitor at local club level events, I have also had some yacht racing experience on keel boats, having won cruiser racing cups on Lough Derg in 2021, 2023 and 2024. I have also sailed in Kilkee, Lough Ree, Dún Laoghaire, Schull and abroad. I attended Glenstal Abbey School and am currently studying Architecture at University College Dublin (UCD). I am also a member of the UCD Sailing Team.
