José R. Ralat is the author of the award winning book AMERICAN TACOS, now in it's second revision. Ralat is Texas Monthly's Taco Editor, writing about tacos and Mexican food and is a two time winner and thrice nominated James Beard Award Winner in Food Journalism for his work in writing about cultura and the gente behind these culinary works of art.
