Bailey Elder is a multidisciplinary artist currently residing in Ludlow, KY where she works primarily in paint, illustration, graphic design and textile design. Widely known for her work in abstraction, she strives to translate the connections of the natural and spiritual realms. “Tuning into myself and letting source be my guide is most important and inspiring. I’m nothing but a vessel for the universe and feel whole heartedly that everything is one and unified.” Life is reflected in the natural world and her expressions are both otherworldly and accessible. Using color and form as her guides, her art takes you on a kaleidoscopic journey from the mountains and deserts to the valleys and woods where she grew up. Bailey was born in Louisville, KY where she received her BFA in Communication Art and Design. Since then she has worked with a diverse catalog of designers and musicians and is now working as an independent artist.
