Bio
Formed in the summer of 2022, Be Safe are an emotionally driven indie rock quartet from an Appalachian mountain town in Maryland called Frostburg. Comprised of musicians who’ve been part of the DIY scene for most of their lives, Matt Wojcik, Geoff Minnear, Koda Murphy and Jordan Nolan pool their influences together to form their own brand of slow, deliberate and melancholic indie rock, harkening back to a sound that is reminiscent of mid-90s emocore. With deeply personal yet relatable lyrics, Be Safe have found themselves resonating with listeners in an intimate way which is not often found among their contemporaries. Their debut full length “Unwell” was released to international praise, with their cassette quickly selling out, resulting in a vinyl release as part of a collaboration between 7 record labels across the world. With multiple tours under their belt, countless shows, and new music on the horizon, Be Safe have no intention of slowing down any time soon.
