The QB club every year strives to fundraise for Childrens hospital of Alabama along with other non-profits that benefit young children. This has become a passion of mine bc Childrens hospital has been so important to my family. My sister was a patient there for over 200 days back in 97. The hardworking doctors and nurses were able to make sure that my sister was able to walk out of there and live a healthy life. My own daughter was a patient there in 2020. Our Dr. was concerned that Hillis was not walking. She is completely fine today but there was a 6 month period where we had to go in twice a week to work with her. During that time I got to witness first hand, many children that suffer from cerebral palsy. I learned very early on that Hillis was going to be ok. I saw a tremendous amount of children and their parents were not getting the same kind of news that we did. Their lives would be changed forever. That was devastating to see. I almost felt guilty for being there. When I found out what the Qb club really does and how important it is to the club. I realized I needed to do something. None of us know what life holds for us or our children in the future. I realize many of you have other charities that you might support and also understand life is tough for many right now.
