Biography
Bre Valdez is a 23 year old lyric soprano and young artist. She has attended Westminster Choir College, the Crane School of Music, and is continuing her degree at Castleton University.
Bre is a member of Joshua Collier's studio. Bre has participated in masterclasses given by esteemed composers, coaches, and performers such as Michael Ching, Ailyn Perez, Kirsten and Keith Chambers, Ragnar Conde, Abdiel Vazquez, Jennifer Rowley, Thomas Cooley, Felix Jarrar, and Cailin Marcel Manson. Bre has performed in a number of productions with Barn Opera house in Brandon, Vermont. While performing in the chorus, Bre has covered roles such as Norina in Don Pasquale, Sophie in Werther, and Josephine in HMS Pinafore.
Bre has participated in the International Opera Festival of Morelia in 2020, studding the role of "La Contessa" from Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro.
Bre will debut the role of Musetta in Castelopera al Mare's Summer 2023 production of La Boheme, at the Petrella Theater in Longano, Italy.
