Event: EASTWARD: An exhibition exploring the work of 20th century artists in East Anglia
11 - 19 April 2026 - EASTWARD
Open 11- 5 pm. Closed Mon/Tues
An exhibition of art work reflecting the horizons of East Anglia. Drawing on the Modern British artists and art schools of four counties.
Artists represented will include:
Edward Bawden,
John Nash,
John O'Connor,
Rowland Suddaby,
Moss Fuller,
Tessa Newcomb
and many more.
Presented by Oriel Fine Art and Inexpensive Progress.
Robjn Cantus will be pleased to give several talks as author and expert on the Great Bardfield artists during the exhibition:

Charlie Pryor
8 - 10 May 2026 - New Paintings : Charlie Pryor.
Charlie specializing in landscapes, using oil on canvas, with work featuring Cambridge.
Dariush Kanani
8 - 9 May 2026 - Guitar Workshop with Dariush Kanani.
An opportunity to study a number of pieces by three folk guitar pioneers - Bert Jansch, John Renbourn & Davy Graham. Exploring the relation between each of the players styles and exploring pieces in tunings such as DADGAD, Open G and Standard tuning.
Workshop places are limited to a maximum of 15 students. The workshop will run from 10am to 6.00pm on Saturday, and from 10am to 4.30 pm on Sunday.

As part of Cambridge Open Studios, this group show will be an exciting mix of paintings from Gail de Cordova, Letter Cutting from Emi Gordon, Mixed Media Artworks from Loukas Morley & Jewellery by Abi Cochran.
