About Us
Cuideachta was created to make it easier for men in Killarney to find straightforward mental-health support without judgement, pressure, or confusion. Too many men wait until breaking point to ask for help, often because they don’t know where to turn or feel they have to “figure it out themselves.” We wanted to change that.
This space brings together the essential supports available locally — from crisis services to counselling options, addiction supports, men’s groups, and community resources — all in one place, written in plain language and constantly updated. No agenda, no cost, no complications. Just clear information when you need it.
Cuideachta isn’t a clinic or a therapy service. It’s a community-driven initiative built on the idea that none of us should have to struggle alone, and that asking for help should feel normal, not daunting. Our aim is simple: to point you towards the right support, at the right time, in a way that feels approachable and grounded.
