Cut to the Chase

A new electrifying garage rock band from Redcar, England. With vocalist Claire, lead guitarist Andy, bassist Jacob, and drummer Paul, they draw inspiration from the vibrant sounds of the mid-2000s, crafting a brash post-punk sound that captures the essence of their musical roots. Andy and Paul’s journey began in school, jamming for hours in the shed at Pauls house. They were inspired by the eclectic sounds of their childhood, and the musical family members that went before them. Claire, Paul’s cousin, brought a fresh energy to the group with her love of Taylor Swift and a voice influenced by some of rock's greatest front-women. Jacob joined the band after a search for a bassist, infusing his unique flavour, shaped by northern soul and funk. Today, Cut to the Chase incorporate a wide range of influences into an exhilarating blend of catchy tunes and edgy rhythms. Inspired by iconic acts like The Hives, The Darkness, Stereophonics, Shed Seven, The Damned, Blondie and The Offspring.
