DEENA SO'OTEH

GET IN TOUCH hello@deenasooteh.com DEENA SO’OTEH is an illustrator who uses visual storytelling to bring large, abstract ideas to a human scale. Her illustrations have been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, the Art Directors Club, American Illustration, and 3×3 Magazine, and have appeared in editorial features, book covers, and children’s books. She holds an MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts, teaches Professional Practices at SVA’s Summer Illustration Residency, and is a tenure-track professor at Purchase College. Deena divides her time between New York City and Switzerland. When she’s not drawing, she reads and goes on adventures with her kid. When life gives her lemons, she makes a great lemonade.
