The story of DJ Cas is one of persistence. Growing up in Waterbury, Connecticut, Eric Casavant developed a passion for music that fueled a desire to stay abreast with the latest trends and activity within its landscape. Initially influenced by hip hop, Cas maintained an awareness of the culture’s movements by stalking both the genre’s mixtape scene and commercial charts. This well-rounded attentiveness led to the formation of an extensive knowledge base that only strengthened the love that already burned inside of him.
