Djodje

Djodje is a Cape Verdean singer and songwriter who, while based in Portugal, masterfully blends traditional Cape Verdean sounds with the contemporary rhythms of kizomba and Afropop. Starting his musical journey at the age of 12, he has released five albums, numerous hit singles, and collaborated with international artists such as Emicida, Patoranking, and Dino D’Santiago. Recognized as one of the leading names in Lusophone music, he has performed on prestigious stages like L’Olympia, Coliseu dos Recreios, and the O2 Arena, amassing millions of streams and views across digital platforms. Nominated for the AFRIMA Awards, Djodje continues to expand his global influence with the EP ELEMENTS (2024) and his latest project Choices (2025), which features tracks like “Lua” and three other original songs.
