Dr. Dianna Gibson is a Queen’s University trained psychologist with 10+ years of experience. Offering in-person and online psychological treatment services for children (age 7+), adolescents, and adults. Psychoeducational and psychodiagnostic assessments are offered in-person. My focus is to help you reach your goals by discussing your concerns in an accepting and empathic space. Through warm, comprehensive, and accurate assessment of mental health difficulties, we can develop specific recommendations and a tailored treatment plan for you or your child. Together, we will work to apply evidence-based strategies to manage your mental health symptoms and improve your quality of life. Specialized in cognitive-behavioural therapy, trauma-focused therapies (prolonged exposure, cognitive processing), emotion-focused family therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy. Areas of focus include depression, anxiety, social anxiety, trauma/PTSD, stress, adjustment difficulties, self-harm, relationship difficulties, parenting, and emotion regulation. Services are covered or partially covered by many extended health insurance plans. Please check with your insurance company directly regarding your level of coverage.
