Jonas Spring

Jonas Spring is the owner and operator of Ecoman. The climate focused landscape and construction business with a mandate to increase green space through proactive and innovative ecological design. Spring is also a leading member of Design Climate Action (DCA), an alliance of like-minded designers committed to education, social justice, advocacy and finding new and equitable approaches to climate change. Spring is a past president of the Toronto Chapter of Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trade Association and currently sits on the provincial board developing a grassroots climate action plan for horticulture. He also holds a BSc in Agroecology from the University of British Columbia and is one of the founders of the Toronto Seed Orchard (TSO). TSO is committed to creating a stable source of source identified native plant seed in Ontario.
