Described as having an “evocative, masterful & iconic” style, Elise is an award winning writer, director, producer and actor of stage and screen. Starting out her impressive 21 year career (to date) as a teenager playing Batgirl at Warner Bros. Movie World and dancing with The Australian Ballet before going on to graduate from the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech & Drama and having her stage plays produced Off-West End in London, Elise has evolved into a rare and unique hybrid artist with a talent for telling visually engaging and emotionally nuanced stories. Elise’s recent short film ‘The Wilted Rose’ premiered in competition at the 2023 Brisbane International Film Festival where it won Best Short Film and was a contender for the 2024 AACTA Award (the Australian equivalent of an Oscar). The film is currently streaming on SBS On-Demand in Australia as part of their ‘Homegrown Cinema’ collection and worldwide on Vimeo. As a screenwriter, Elise has been nominated twice for the Australian Writers’ Guild Monte Miller Award and is developing a slate of projects including her debut feature film and a semi-biographical TV series. She is a Shadow Director for Season 6 of ‘Slow Horses’. Elise is an Australian Citizen of Scottish descent based in London and holds the UK Global Talent Visa.
