My name is Jaime Vasquez, and I'm a self-taught oil painter driven by both realism and imagination. I started painting because I wanted to capture moments that felt too powerful to put into words — the look in a loved one's eyes, a dream that felt too real, a memory that makes you pause. My work blends detailed realism with a touch of the surreal, giving each piece a sense of life and soul. As an emerging artist, I haven’t had formal fame or major gallery representation yet — but I believe that art is meant to connect people, not just decorate rooms. Every painting I create is meant for someone who sees a piece of themselves in it — whether it's a custom portrait or one of my personal dreamscapes.
