FLASH IN THE PAN

We are Flash in the Pan. We are an emerging theatre company which creates live theatre using viral social media content to highlight the power of human stories in our increasingly digital world. Daniel is a director, writer and dramaturg originally from Warwick. He went to Drama Centre London to train as a director. This is where he met Annie. He is a Performance and Casting Director at PitStop Productions. Dan's previous theatre work includes writing Good Day for Vault Festival and assistant directing Operation Mincemeat at the Southwark Playhouse. His recent script Anchor Point was shortlisted for the RSC's 37 play initative. He is currently writing a radio drama.

Annie is a writer and performer originally from Northumberland. She went to Durham Uni where she read English Literature, then went to Drama Centre London to train as an actor. This is where she met Dan. Since graduating, she's performed at The Park, The Oxford Playhouse and the King's Head. Annie's debut solo show BAIRNS achieved nice reviews from the British Theatre Guide. She was shortlisted for the SevenDials' Seven from Seven initiative, and is an alumni of Soho Theatre Labs. She is currently writing GRIZZLY, a 2-hander about the viral 'man or bear' question.
