Guy Trangoš

Prof. Guy Trangoš is Acting Director of the Graduate School of Architecture (GSA) at the University of Johannesburg and a registered professional architect. His interdisciplinary work explores the intersections of urbanisation, society, technology, and infrastructure. With nearly two decades of experience in architectural practice, Guy has contributed to numerous award-winning projects across architecture, research, curation, and design. He has taught and led design studios at several institutions and is regularly invited to speak and serve as a guest critic. His recent research focuses on the spatial and societal implications of large-scale scientific infrastructure, culminating in numerous publications including his latest book The Spatialities of Radio Astronomy.
