Guy Trangoš

Guy Trangoš is a Tauck Travel Director and Professional Architect based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and a former Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Architecture (GSA). He holds a Doctor of Design from Harvard University. Alongside nearly two decades of experience in architectural practice, with contributions to award-winning projects, Guy leads carefully curated journeys for Tauck. In this role, he directs immersive travel experiences that engage deeply with a place's cultural and spatial character. Drawing on his architectural training and academic background, he brings an interpretive lens that allows cities and landscapes to be understood with clarity and depth. He has taught at several international and local institutions. His recent research focuses on the spatial and societal implications of large-scale scientific infrastructure, culminating in numerous publications, including his book The Spatialities of Radio Astronomy.
