Happy 40th

‘Happy 40th’ was written while in the throes of early parenthood - young children, no sleep and no money. A time when everything was happening, all at once. All the chaos, all the stress and all the joy. Every so often, a moment arrived when things came into focus, when you could see things clearly… just for a moment. Half celebration, half lament, ‘Happy 40th’ tracks one of those ‘loaded days’ when emotions ran high and memories bubbled up to the surface.
