Jo Johnson

Jo Johnson’s musical path has serpentined through punk, techno and meditative electronic minimalism. A guitarist for revolutionary band Huggy Bear in the 90s, she later immersed herself in the techno scene and, from 2012 onwards, she has journeyed into transcendence and catharsis through improvised, generative and composed electronics. Her releases on Further Records, Castles in Space, Mysteries of the Deep, Going In and, most recently, with Quiet Details reveal an artist in creative evolution.
