News & Updates
More about me
Since 2021, I have been a fund officer at Doc Society, supporting filmmakers throughout their production and impact journeys. For over 15 years, I have worked on exhibition projects showcasing independent cinema in the United States and Mexico. From 2018 to 2020, I served as a programmer and later as co-director of programming at Ambulante, where I now sit on the Advisory Board. I am currently a member of DAE and DOCMA. Originally from Mexico, I enjoy non-fiction literature and theater and occasionally write about media cultures for radio and magazines. I live in Madrid with my wife and toddler.

Reach Out
I offer feedback and imagining sessions to support emerging talents—including programmers, distributors, promoters, and filmmakers. I prioritize individuals from diverse backgrounds, those from institutionally disenfranchised communities, and those based in countries with low film production output. To participate, please send me: - A link to your teaser, rough cut, or any written materials you’d like me to review. - A brief message about where you are in your practice or process and the type of feedback you’re seeking. You’re welcome to write to me in Spanish, English, French, or Portuguese. I can accommodate one project every other week. If you're interested, please book a session below. For inquiries related to Doc Society, please contact me at [my first name]@docsociety.org.
