Lola, Teddy & George

Lady Lola was our matriarch for almost 21 years. She had been by my side since she was 8 weeks old. Lola originally came to me with her litter mate brothers, Luey and Luca. They sadly passed away in 2019 and 2021. After they passed away, Lola became very withdrawn and depressed and she was not herself at all. Lola was used to the company of her two brothers and without them she was struggling. I decided to adopt two little brothers in the hope that she may become more of her former self. The introduction of Teddy and George gave Lola a new lease of life and she truly thrived with them. They all got along so well and the boys adored her. Lola passed away in March 2026, just ten days before her 21st birthday. She was comfortable, deeply loved, and surrounded by her family. Lola will still feature here, always. I focus on authentic cat content, the moments that matter, and sharing our experiences and knowledge.

So here we are. My name is Niki, aka fur mum. The content I put together has been driven by three things: 🐾 My love of cats 🐾 My advocacy around mental health 🐾 Support to our rescue partner, Lulu’s Friends Alongside being a furmum to two gorgeous boys, I am also a wife and mum to an amazing son. My husband once told me I needed a hobby, something just for me. I wanted to do something more around the above areas, so I tiptoed into Instagram and started creating content. Little did I realise how many people around the world would want to engage with it 🤍 📖 Our story has now been published in My Life and Lola, a book created with so much love. 🐾 Do you do any charity work Yes! We are partnered with Lulu’s Friends Rescue for “Lola’s Mission”. We donate food and essentials quarterly & a portion of the proceeds from My Life & Lola will also support their work. 🐾 How can I order My Life and Lola? It was created with so much love, & we’re grateful for every person who chooses to read it. 🐾 What do Teddy & George eat? They have a mixture of wet food (Felix), dry food and treats. They’ve always had the same food and it works beautifully for them. 🐾 When are their birthdays? Teddy and George share the same birthday 5th April (Same as Lola, Luey & Luca. A little sign they were always meant to join our family. 🐾 Will we still see Lola? Yes. Lola will always feature here. She shaped this page & her legacy lives on through Lola’s Mission. 🐾 Can we send treats? Yes there is a virtual treat jar here 🙏🏻
