Lola, Teddy & George

Lady Lola is our matriarch at 20 years old. You would never believe it to see her. She has been by my side since she was 8 weeks old. Lola originally came to me with her litter mate brothers, Luey and Luca. They sadly passed away in 2019 and 2021. After they passed away, Lola became very withdrawn and depressed and she was not herself at all. Lola was used to the company of her two brothers and without them she was struggling. I decided to adopt two little brothers in the hope that she may become more of her former self. The introduction of Teddy and George have given Lola a new lease of life and she has thrived since they arrived. They all get along so well and the boys adore her! Lola is in very good health. She has twice daily gabapentin to help and control age related arthritic pain and any other aches and pains that may occur. It is important to me to keep her comfortable. So here we are! My name is Niki aka the fur mum to Lola, Teddy & George. The content I put together has been driven by three things 1) my love of cats (especially seniors!) 2) my advocacy around mental health and 3) my joy of photography and creativity. Alongside being a furmum to 3 gorgeous furballs, I am also a wife and mum to an amazing son with additional needs. My husband said to me I needed a hobby, something for me! I really wanted to do something more around the above 3 areas and so I tiptoed into Instagram and started creating content. Little did I realise so many people around the world would want to engage with it 🤍 Our page will always be authentic. I will always try to make people feel good about themselves 🤍 I read every single message and just know each and every one of them are appreciated 🤍

💫Do you do any charity work Yes! We are partnered with Lulu’s friend’s rescue for “Lola’s mission” we donate food and essentials to rescues in need. 💫 What does Lola, Teddy & George eat? They have a mixture of wet food (Felix), dry food and treats! They have always had the same food. 💫 When are their birthdays? They all share the same birthday of 5th April. This was the clearest indication that the boys were meant to join us. 💫 Does Lola still play? Yes indeed she does. She loves to play with her little soft brussel sprout and feather toys. 💫What medication does Lola take? Lola has twice daily gabapentin. This helps with her arthritis and general wellness. 💫Are Lola’s eyes okay? It is fairly rare to see a cat of Lola’s age and like all of us as part of the aging process we change. Lola’s eyes used to be green but are now brown and speckled. Lola has had recent full blood work and there were no markers, the vets are very happy!
