ལྷས་མ་སྐྱིད་སྡུག། LHEMA KYIDUK

Started in 2024, Lhema Kyiduk is a Tibetan diaspora community group rooted in Lenapehoking (NYC) and dedicated to the wellbeing of all Tibetan people. We are committed to building upon the strong networks of support and mutual aid sustained by our elders and Indigenous communities. Through direct aid, access to resources, and creative workshops, we seek to meet people’s needs without institutions like governments, banks, or nonprofits. We are currently engaged in sharing resources on immigrant rights, distributing prepared foods, and providing support for people accessing critical social services. Inspired by the ལྷས་མ། Lhema (braids) in our elders’ hair, our Kyiduk formed through shared experiences, values, and visions of new possibilities. We recognize that our fates, as Bhoepa, are entwined with those of all living beings.
