About
Marina Pasia (she/her) is an Architect, Heritage Scientist, Research Associate at the HCI Research Group at CYENS Centre of Excellence and PhD candidate at University of Cyprus, School of Architecture, bridging design, research and practice.
She is interested in participatory design practices, social engagement, and co-creation. She specialises in designing interventions in historical and archaeological landscapes and public spaces. Her current research and PhD focus on innovatively bridging sensory and experiential data with spatial analysis to inform design of urban public spaces.
Marina holds a Master’s Diploma in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree with distinction in Architecture, Landscape, and Archaeology, studying at La Sapienza in Rome, the University of Coimbra, and the University Federico II of Naples.
