About
Marina Pasia (she/her) is an Architect, Landscape Architect and Heritage Scientist. She is a PhD candidate at University of Cyprus, School of Architecture and Research Associate at the Society and Urban Form Research Lab, UCY and HCI Research Group at CYENS Centre of Excellence, bridging design, research and practice. She is interested in participatory design practices, social engagement, and co-creation. She specialises in designing interventions in culturaly dense landscapes and public spaces. Her current research and PhD focus on innovatively bridging sensory and experiential data with spatial analysis to inform design of urban public spaces. Marina holds a Master’s Diploma in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree with distinction in Architecture, Landscape, and Archaeology, studying at La Sapienza in Rome, the University of Coimbra, and the University Federico II of Naples.
