MK Francisco lives in Seattle. A graduate of the University of Washington MFA program, her book Insects of the Data Lake is forthcoming from Inverted Syntax Press in 2027. Her work has appeared in Fence, Quarterly West, Posit, Antiphony, Midway Journal, Santa Clara Review and more. (She has not written a romance novel, that is someone else).
